The Port of Los Angeles organizes and supports a variety of educational programs to foster a better understanding of the marine environment and ecosystems, shipping and cargo operations, and the importance of international trade and commerce. In addition to supporting students and teachers, the Port offers resources for college students, educational groups, undergraduate and post-graduate researchers, and nonprofit and community organizations.
