Red Car Stations - What You'll See

The Red Car will be out of service from May 7-June 28, 2012.   

Fanfare Fountain

Station No. 1: Cruise Center

From the station, walk along our Cruise Ship Promenade. First, you can't miss the majestic Fanfare Fountains, the largest water feature in California. Just north of the two main fountains lies a reflection pool across Swinford Street. Across the channel you and your students can take in the awesome scale of visiting cruise ships docked at the World Cruise Center. Walk along the path and enjoy the native grasses and a self- guided kiosk tour with information about the history of the port. At the end of the walk, view the S.S. Lane Victory. LA Maritime MuseumStation No. 2: Downtown

The hub of the downtown San Pedro area. Just cross the street to the Los Angeles Maritime Museum or walk along the promenade and enjoy the many landmarks and memorials or get an up close and personal view of propellers, cannons and other ship parts on display. Ports O' Call VillageStation No. 3: Ports O’ Call Village

Disembark here and enjoy Ports O’ Call Village, home to numerous gift shops and restaurants. Bring your brown bag lunch and enjoy a picnic on the lawn, or walk to the fish market and see tanks full of live lobsters and crabs.




Cabrillo MarinaStation No. 4: 22nd Street/Marina

This is a great place to begin your journey with ample bus parking and a picturesque view of boat marinas and our fishing dock.
